The Event shall be concluding no later than 12:00 a.m. Renter may have access to the Space the day prior to the Event beginning at 12:00 p.m. and lasting until 9:00 p.m. only for purposes of setting up for the Event and on the day following until 12:00 p.m. for purposes of cleaning up.
In addition to the Rental Fee, Renter must pay a deposit of seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) (“Deposit”), which must be paid to Lessor upon execution of this Agreement. Lessor shall have no obligation as to Renter until and unless the Deposit is paid. The Deposit may be refunded within fifteen (15) business days after conclusion of the Event, unless the Space is not left in the same condition as it was found. If repair and/or excessive cleaning is needed, the Deposit will be applied to such costs, and Renter shall be responsible for any deficiencies. Further, if the Renter fails to comply with the time restrictions set out in Section 2, the Lessor reserves the right to retain the entirety of the $750.00 deposit to compensate for this breach.
Renter shall pay the Lessor a fee of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00) (“Rental Fee”) for the use of the Space. The Rental Fee is due in full at least 10 calendar days prior to the Event.
Any cancellation by Renter shall result in forfeiture of Deposit.
*All non-rented equipment, decorations, and the like must be removed from the Space no later than 12:00 p.m. on the day following the Event. Rental items must be removed no later than the first business day following the Event. Renter shall be responsible for any damage caused to the Space. If repairs to the Space are required, Renter shall reimburse Lessor for any such repairs within fifteen (15) days of receipt of Lessor’s written request for reimbursement.*
In the event alcoholic beverages will be served at the Event, Renter must arrange for the services of at least two officers from the Monroe Police Department to be in attendance. Renter is responsible for all costs associated with the officers’ attendance and the scheduling of the same.
Failure to provide the police officers will result in the immediate cancellation of the Event and forfeiture of the Rental Fee and Deposit.
Any candles being used for an Event must be waxless or be in votives or similar containers. All cooking must be performed offsite.
No smoking is permitted at any time on the premises of the Vantage Tower.
*Nothing may be attached to the walls, ceiling, windows or light fixtures within the Space.*
A food warmer (large commercial type) is also available for use. The cost of using the food warmer is $100.00, and this fee is due at the same time as the Rental Fee.
The Vantage Building Banquet room was a great place to hold my wedding and reception. The layout and access of the room was great. The place is already beautiful without decorating. I could not have asked for better people to work with from the time I made the appointment to the day after the wedding to clean up, they were great. The room has a great lighting aspect that can be arranged to be changed throughout the night. I had different lighting for my wedding and my reception. The room also has a great DJ/Band setup through the sound system if needed. Depending on how you decorate, the room allows for plenty of room for guests and dancing. My guest had a great time and kept talking about how beautiful the room was. I highly recommend the Vantage Building Banquet room.Amanda Gates
My husband and I were married May 17th, 2014. Earlier in the year we had been to a wedding reception held at Vantage and we knew without a doubt we wanted to celebrate our special day there too. We were not disappointed! Everything was wonderful, from the layout of the room, to having a kitchen and most importantly the kind and friendly people of Vantage who helped out. The one thing I had wanted at the reception was a light canopy over the dance floor and I was thankful that Vantage was on board with my idea and allowed us to see it through. We even had a technical moment with our lights and a member of their staff saved the day and was able to solve the problem. There were so many features of this room that we loved but one of our favorites was how we could adjust the lightening to fit the mood of the room and put a spotlight on the cakes. We also loved that it was downtown and easy for our guests to find. We had a wonderful time celebrating here and we know many other happy couples will enjoy it just as much as we did.Morgan Aitken
